Key inspection items:

  • Check for any leakage, dripping or abnormal sweating at all weld seams, pipe plate connections, sealing surfaces, and the roots of each

  • Are there any visible abnormal deformations or abnormal noises?

  • Is the reading of the pressure gauge stable?

Blood pressure reduction and examination:

  • After the pressure holding process is completed, slowly reduce the pressure to the designed value.

  • Under the design pressure, conduct a more detailed inspection, especially at all connection points. This is the best time to detect tiny leaks.

  • A small hammer (limited to carbon steel and other materials) can be used to gently tap the vicinity of the weld for auxiliary inspection. However, it must not be used on materials that are prone to damage, such as stainless steel.
